1. Services & Orders

Britannia Italian Bakery provides freshly baked goods, deli platters, hot food, and catering services.

• Pricing: As noted on our website, prices for catering and certain menu items are available upon request. Quotes provided via phone or email are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
• Order Confirmation: An order is only considered confirmed once Britannia Italian Bakery has sent an official confirmation and, where applicable, a deposit has been received.

2. Catering & Cancellations

Catering orders require significant preparation and fresh ingredients.

• Cancellations: Cancellations for catering orders must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled pickup or delivery time. Deposits for late cancellations may be non-refundable at the discretion of management.
• Changes: Any modifications to guest counts or menu selections must be finalized 72 hours before the event date.

3. Food Safety & Allergies

At Britannia Italian Bakery, we use traditional family recipes that may include common allergens.

• Allergen Warning: Our products are prepared in a facility that handles wheat, nuts, dairy, eggs, soy, and shellfish. While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee a 100% allergen-free environment.
• Customer Responsibility: It is the customer’s responsibility to inform us of any severe allergies at the time of ordering.
• Consumption: For food safety, we recommend that all hot food be consumed within 2 hours of pickup/delivery or refrigerated immediately. Britannia Italian Bakery is not liable for illness resulting from improper storage after the products have left our premises.

4. Website Use & Intellectual Property

• Content: All text, images (including photos of our bread, platters, and desserts), and logos on britanniabakery.ca are the property of Britannia Italian Bakery and are protected by Canadian copyright laws.
• Accuracy: While we strive for accuracy, we do not warrant that product descriptions or menu items are always 100% accurate, complete, or current. We reserve the right to substitute ingredients of equal quality based on seasonal availability.

5. Limitation of Liability

Britannia Italian Bakery will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or the consumption of our products once they have been delivered or picked up in good condition.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be handled in the courts of the Region of Peel.
